Do you love or want to love Downward Facing Dog (or other groups of poses) but feel that if you just understood a bit more about how you are supposed to be doing it you could REALLY love it and benefit from it further?!
Join Taryn for a deeper dive into core groups of poses. This is an opportunity to study with a teacher in a setting where she’ll break down poses and give a deeper understanding and experience of their intricacies.
June 2 & 16: Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)
July 7 & 21: Upward Facing Dog (Urdhva Mukha Svanasana) and cobra
August 4 & 18: Standing Balancing poses (Padangustasana and variations)
September 1 & 15: The Vinyasa: Plank & Chaturanga
October 6 & 20: Chandrasana, Parivrtta Chandrasana, Warrior III
November 3 & 17: Warrior I & II
December 1 & 15: Utkatasana & Garudasana (Chair & Eagle)
This class is more of a workshop style, with very basic warmups and the majority of the class looking at the core group of poses and understanding the priority actions and how to modify if you can’t access those actions yet. It will be a mix of discussion, Q&A, lecture, practice, and observation, with key points to take away. Studio Cards or drop-in rates apply.
